About Bridget
Award-winning photographer Bridget Flemming qualified as a Licentiate of the British Institute of Professional Photography in 2004 and gained a Diploma from the
Master
Photographers Association in Photographic Practice in 2005. Published work includes Round About
Chatsworth with the Dowager Duchess of Devonshire, various book covers and national press pictures. Her work ranges
from intimate, natural images of people to wild landscapes, from greetings cards to large framed prints and canvases.
Bridget has published work in national and local press, including profiles in The Derbyshire Magazine and Derbyshire Life in 2007 and Reflections in 2008. In 2006 eight images out of 200 selected from international photographers were auctioned by Bonhams Fine Art in aid of Help the hospices. Bespoke greetings cards include Derby Cathedral and Pavilion Gardens, Buxton. Garden photography for private commissions is a popular new venture. Bridget is a member of High Peak Artists and Peak District Products. Her work has been described as spiritual , moving and impressionist in style - adding an extra dimension to the image, without digital manipulation.
Bridget moved to Ireland with her husband in February 2010. She continues to be inspired by the breathtaking land and seascapes all around Ireland.
2010 commissioned by Tatler to photograph Dowager Duchess of Devonshire for article in March edition. Publications including her work, " In Tearing Haste" , "Home to Roost", Australian Womens Weekly magazine in 2010.
